Hey! :) Let's continue and introduce the Japanese Metalcore band
+++ Welcome to Japan! FAKE ISLAND is a female-fronted Metalcore band, based since 2017 from Tokyo. Under YuuriBjoux (Vocal), Erica (Growl), Matsumoto (Guitar) and Igarashi (Bass), the quartet's performing signature element are the twin vocals, who combine clean and scream vocals with the Metal and Metalcore inspired sound.
In 2017, the band released their first self-titled mini album. Also, FAKE ISLAND directly started a nationwide tour in Japan, crowned with a final in Tokyo, January 2018. After the first Single Release 'Throw Down', the group announced their first Europe Tour in 2019 and explored the countries Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany. Later that year, FAKE ISLAND joined the Spanish metal band ANKOR on their Asia Tour in Taiwan and Japan. The newest record 'CELL DIVISION' (04/03/2020) presents the first full-length album.
Something else
Discomfort Wings. To give a short background - the 'main music interest' started around 2005 with Japanese rock music :) During the EU Tour, I was also able to see the band's live concert in Cologne, Germany as a fan. :) Soooo... all I can say - they really rock! Looking back to the concert, it gives such good memories at a time, when concerts where possible. Hopefully in the future again! :)
