Back story
Since forming in 2020, Future Radio has released 28 songs and two full length albums, Freedom (2021) and Identity (2023). Led by Pretoria based songwriter Johnny Late, the project has built a reputation for bold storytelling, emotional honesty, and creative risk taking. Their music has featured on official Spotify and Apple Music playlists and earned collaborations with South African artists including Sarah Jade, Black Heidi, Fatman, Martin Bester, Jamie Lee Sexton, and Christiaan Baartman.

AI takes a cynical look at how artificial intelligence could dominate human existence, contrasting that sterile vision with the chaotic beauty of art as humanity’s antidote. It is a rebellious track that captures Future Radio’s new sound: loud, melodic, and deeply human.
“It is our way of pushing back against the idea that technology can replace what makes us human,” says frontman Johnny Late. “The bridge celebrates the messiness of art, the imperfections, the chaos, that create true beauty. It is a reminder that rebellion is not just noise, it is meaning, and it is freedom.”
