A.D.A.M. MUSIC PROJECT reveals new album via Astonish Entertainment
Knocked Down is the brand new album from Billboard charting rock band A.D.A.M. Music Project, along with their music video for the project's powerful title track!
Back story
A.D.A.M. Music Project (AMP) is revolutionizing the music world by merging hard rock with gaming culture for an explosive and thrilling listen. The brainchild of visionary musician and producer Adam DeGraide, AMP was born from the belief that collaboration is key to creating exceptional music. The result is an electrifying and powerhouse sound that has landed the band millions of streams across platforms and a spot on Billboard’s Top 40 Mainstream Rock Chart.
The project showcases Adam DeGraide as both a key vocalist and the primary architect of the electronic elements, handling electric guitar, bass, synthesizer, and programming. Dameon Aranda leads with vocals and guitar, joined by Jay Gleason on guitar and Jeff Hall on drums.
Since 2022, AMP has released six full-length albums, each project offering a cinematic and immersive journey through the emotional highs and lows of a gamer's reality.
The songs explore perspectives from both gamers and the characters they play, capturing the grind for success, the rush of competition, the weight of pressure and self-doubt, the joy of victory, and the resilience that drives them to keep going. Adam DeGraide's personal journey as a top-ranked Apex Legends competitor inspired the band’s foundational albums Apex Rising Part 1(2022), Apex Rising Part 2 (2023) and Apex Risen (2023).
Later in 2023, the release of Smash It Up marked a new creative chapter, expanding their musical narratives to pay homage to gaming legends such as Donkey Kong, Bowser, God of War, Sonic the Hedgehog, with the track "Eating Ghosts" earning notable Spotify editorial recognition.
2024's World Takeover introduced breakout singles "Thunderbolt" and "All Hail The King," paving the way for their most ambitious project yet: the PUNCH OUT album. An epic celebration of video game heroes across multiple universes, the project features character-driven anthems like "Black Heart" (Diablo), "Two Worlds" (Sonic's Shadow), "Take Until They Break" (Team Rocket from Pokémon), "Killing Machine" (Apex Legend’s Pathfinder), and "Killer Bee" (Cammy from Street Fighter).
AMP’s sonic expansion continued with their 2025 single “They Are Here,” a thrilling, otherworldly track powered by legendary alien-themed video games like Half Life, Halo, Mass Effect, Alien Trilogy, Doom, and Space Invaders.
AMP released as well the high-energy funk rock anthem about World of Warcraft "Don't Be Leeroy" alongside No More Kings and "Right Here, Right Now,".
Their unforgettable live shows aim to bridge the gap between music and gaming, with stage designs inspired by retro arcades, boss battles, and the pulse of digital worlds. AMP also leads Astonish Entertainment, an independent label that serves as a creative hub for artists, including No More Kings and Aranda.
Knocked Down [Album release]
The album's title track "Knocked Down" plunges listeners into the perilous world of the classic 1982 Atari Game Pitfall! The song explodes out of the speakers and races forward fueled by scorching guitar leads and a "never-say-die" attitude. The accompanying music video features the legendary protagonist Pitfall Harry in the jungle dodging deadly snares, leaping over hazards, and going head-to-head with the iconic crocodile in a hilarious fight scene straight out of the original game. As one early viewer put it, "it’s like a public access fantasy sketch from the 90s directed by a crackhead from 2026 - high-octane slapstick."
