For the 3rd time in a row, the South Korean formation Rolling Quartz have entered cologne on 12th April 2026. Lets have a throwback to this memorable evening!
Back story
In August 2019, two promising bands, Rolling Girlz and Rose Quartz, merged their talents in Seoul, South Korea, to form the all-female rock ensemble Rolling Quartz. Their journey took off with the release of their debut single, “Blaze,” in December 2020.
Their rise continued with the release of their first mini-album “Fighting” in February 2022. The album made impressive milestones on several international charts, landing at No. 23 on the iTunes Worldwide Album chart, No. 5 on the U.S. Rock Album chart, and No. 30 on the European charts, while dominating as No. 1 on the Malaysian K-pop Album chart.
Following their chart successes, Rolling Quartz embarked on tours across the U.S. and Europe, cementing their status as a formidable presence in the rock genre.
Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld (Cologne)
Known for its creative music and scene, the district "Ehrenfeld" in cologne welcomed the members with an exited audience.
The doors opened at 6 PM for the ticket category Premium Admission, which included a sound check experience. Around 7 PM the regular fans were able to enter the venue CBE 'Club-Bahnhof Ehrenfeld,' and the hall was shortly filled with excited fans nearby the merch booth.
As the schedule promised, the first tunes aired on stage at 7:30 pm, when members entered the stage . The opening song, Re.Bold. directly brought the crowd in an energetic, full-on rock experience.
Jayoung’s voice gave the audience a friendly welcome. Paused by some personal words of some German greetings, the quintet shared some personal words with their fans. The setlist followed hits like 'My Turn,' Blaze, and Good Night. The Set list followed hits like 'My Turn', Blazer and Good Night.
Paused by some personal words of the band and German greetings, Yeong and Arem got there moment of drum and bass solo. “RNR Paradise” stood out, especially with the drum solo—raw, loud, and electrifying. It felt like a classic rock moment.
The members presented their newest song, Roll the dice, which let the audience going wild. The medley of “Pink Venom” and “MIC Drop” was a crowd favorite—Rolling Quartz transformed these tracks into heavier, guitar-driven anthems. Followed by the Paramore cover Misery Business, this song brought a nostalgic vibe beyond K-Rock to the audience and accompanied an solo of guitarist Iree.
"Sing Your Heart Out" seems almost to be the last song, but after a short lineup change, Rolling Quartz surprised the audience with a keyboard version of Romantic.
The first tunes were played by drummer Yeong as vocalist Jayoung continued. During this last song, the hall was filled with flashlights and gave this moment a special atmosphere.
After the concert around 8:50 pm, the members took a short break while the tables for the signing session were built up by the staff. Premium ticket fans were able to join their handshake and selfie moment, while the 3rd category was able to let them sign a personal item. Around 10 PM. the last fan left the venue.
